1. What MUSU Is
MUSU is a locally-installed desktop application — not a cloud service. Your code, project files, and AI conversations stay on your machine. We do not have access to them.
This privacy policy covers the MUSU website (musu.pro) and the MUSU desktop application.
2. What We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive and store your email address, display name, and profile photo. This data is stored in Supabase (our authentication provider) and is used solely to identify your account.
Website Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to collect anonymous, aggregated data about page views and Web Vitals performance metrics. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. No cookies are used for tracking.
Authentication Cookies
We use essential cookies from Supabase to maintain your authentication session. These are strictly functional — no advertising or tracking cookies are used.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- Your source code or project files
- Your AI conversations or prompts
- Your local file system contents
- Your project state or configuration
- Your clipboard or screen content
- Any telemetry from the desktop application
MUSU runs entirely on your machine. The desktop app does not phone home.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — Authentication and account storage. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Vercel — Website hosting and anonymous analytics. Vercel Privacy Policy
- Google — OAuth sign-in only. Google Privacy Policy
5. Your Rights
- Data export: You can request a copy of your account data at any time.
- Account deletion: You can delete your account and all associated server-side data by contacting us.
- Analytics opt-out: Vercel Analytics respects the Do Not Track browser setting.

6. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. When you request account deletion, all server-side data is permanently removed within 30 days.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of MUSU after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
